Inwood, NY (February 6, 2020) – A pedestrian sadly lost his life in a collision on Monday evening.
At around 9:08 p.m., on February 3, the Nassau County Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Nassau Expressway. Reports indicate that 24-year-old Marcos Guillen was attempting to cross the expressway, near the intersection of Mott Avenue, when he was struck by a 1995 Honda.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the collision.
Guillen sustained critical injuries in the collision. He was rushed to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police are currently investigating.
