Watertown, NY (February 4, 2020) – A woman who was hit by a vehicle on Monday, February 3rd has succumbed to her injuries. Evelyn T. Sinclair, 90, was hit by a car in the Community Bank drive-thru at 216 Washington Street at approximately 2:10 p.m.
According to officers, Sinclair was walking through the parking lot when she was struck by a vehicle being driven by former Mayor, Joseph M. Butler Jr. The elderly woman was flown to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse after emergency crews arrived at the scene.
Sinclair succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Monday, February 3rd. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this collision remains ongoing.
