Staten Island (February 6, 2020) – Extensive traffic delays ensued along the westbound lanes of the Staten Island Expressway on Wednesday evening, February 5th, after a multi-vehicle collision near the Richmond Avenue exit. The accident was reported at around 6:44 p.m., according to officials.
Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene where four vehicles collided along the expressway. Paramedics attended to the victims and transported one injured party to Staten Island University North in Ocean Breeze.
The present condition of the wounded victim was not reported. The cause of this accident remains under investigation.
